Umpire Rule Changes

Rule Changes
 
The following is a summary of rule changes that have occurred during the season or from the previous season. All mid-season adjustments include a date of the change. The noted rules do not apply to such items as player eligibility for the Select & Rep Divisions. Unless noted specifically, the rules apply to all levels of baseball. Previous season rule changes can be found below the current changes. 
 
2024 Rule Changes
REP-10U & 11U Divisions - A 3rd Trip to the pitcher in an Inning shall result in the pitcher being removed from the pitching position. 
ALL-The On-Deck Circle which is in front of the offensive team's dug out. A player may elect to be in the On-Deck Circle or warm up beside the offensive team’s dug out off the field of play. 
REP-Extra Innings shall begin with Runner at Second Base Only, 0 Out. The R2 shall be the person (or substitute) immediately before the batter leading off the inning.
REP-8U & 9U Divisions - The maximum runs allowed in a single extra inning shall be 8 per team.
 
 
2023 Rule Changes      COBA Rule Changes
REP-There is no re-entry permitted in 22U Divisions. 
H.L. -Approved Rule Applied to House League 3.5.2 regarding Chin Straps. Rule now the same as Rep.
H.L. -House League Midget - Bat Restriction now -5 (Previously -3)
